I decided that I would start a blog all about my knitting projects. I learned to knit in the late 1980's (made 4 placemats none matching and a few holes). I picked up knitting again just in Feb 2009. Now I've started to spin Aug 2010 with a drop spindle and now with a Hansen Minispinner since Oct 2010. I started weaving Sept 2014 on an Emilia Glimakra Rigid Heddle Loom. I've been test knitting since 2011 and a sample knitter since 2016.
Thou fair-haired angel of the evening...speak silcence with thy glimmering eyes,
And wash the dusk with silver. - William Blake
Jul 31/09 - I'm on row 37 now
Nov 30/09 I'm working on the fan & feather part of the pattern. I lost the stitch marker at one point so I'm not sure how the pattern will work.I won some yarn on a knitting blog. I picked the pink one for something for my oldest daughter. She loves pink! She also pick the pattern. It was a pretty easy knit.
There seems to be a lot of yarn left over so I’m not sure I used the 340 - 380 yards the pattern says. It was nice and easy and my daughter loves it!
