First Place County & State Fairs!
I have the ribbons for the County Fair but not the items since they are up in Phoenix for the State fair.
I entered 2 handspun yarns, a pair of socks and a shawl (made from the hand spun that won 2nd place last year). I would have gotten first place last year at County if I had filled out the form and had know about the matching ties they wanted on the yarn. I filled it out this year and made sure the ties match. For my effort, I got first place this year. Since I started weaving, the fair coordinator says I must enter my weaving next year.
I got pictures and now know that my handspun yarn won first place at the State Fair. I don't know how my socks or shawl did though.
