Circus Leg Warmers - DONE!

These are leg warmers for the youngest. I'm trying to convince them that these will last longer then socks. I don't know where their hand knitted socks will go after then grow out of them.

Camp Loopy Red Mitts - DONE!

This project has a due date of Aug 15/11.

Jul 15/11 - Instructions don’t have the # of cast on so I counted the stitches in the 1st row instructions. Will cast on 36 stitches.

Jul 17/11 - It’s not looking right so will redo. Cast on 45 stitches and try this pattern instead:

row 1,2 & 4 P2 (K4,P2,K1,P2) repeat 4x K4, P2, K1
row 3 P3 (sl 2 on dpn back, k2, k2 on dpn, p2,k1,p2) repeat 4x cable 2, p2, k1

I repeated the 4 rows 8 times. Then knitted 4 rows. Did a thumb increase:
K7, M1R, K1, M1L, K rest of row
K
K7, M1R, K3, M1L, K rest of row
K
Continue until you have increased 13 stitches. Put 13 stitches on waste yarn.

Continue knitting until 3 1/2” from thumb, or desired length.
Decrease rows -- -K6, K2tog- K , -K5, K2tog-, continue until K1, K2 tog, Decrease until only 8 st left.

Thumb -- Put 13 sts on needles and pick up 4 stitches for a total of 17.
Decrease K2, K2tog, next row knit plain, third row K1, K2tog. Thread through remaining stitches.

Ginger Garden Shawl - DONE!

I casted on 322 since I wanted a larger shawl. I’m knitting with size 6 since I don’t have any size 5 needles free.

Jun 1/11 - finished Chart A

Jul 3/11 - finished. I messed up Chart B so I just ended up casting off. It's more of a cresent shape then triangle.

Blue Loopy Groupie Shawl - DONE!

This is part of Camp Loopy. It's a project that needs to be knitted between Jun 15 & Jul 15. I don't usually do good with deadlines but I'm going to try. I didn't think I could even be a part of this camp since we had to be evacuated due to wildfires in AZ.



Jun 26/11 - gotten back into knitting and knitted one skein so my about 1/4 done and 220 yards into my project!

Jun 28/11 - half way done!

Jul 2/11 - done! Had issues with my needles at the end so the bind off looks terrible. Just needs to be washed & blocked!

Wheat Hat - DONE!

I have a deadline for this knit. It's a sample knit for Becoming Art. It has to be done by Jul 12/11. I'm gotten a good start. It's the first time I've casted on with a provisional cast on.

Jun 10/11 - Had to frog it and redo it. I was following the large gauge instead of the small gauge. I was at 30 rows and it wasn't close to 8".

Jun 12/11 - done except for the pom poms. Will finished tomorrow.

Jun 13/11 - Pom poms done. I’m not good at making them though.

Scrappy Blanket - FROGGED

This is going to be a LONG WIP since I will be using my leftover yarns to make a big blanket. Most of this first square is made out of Bugga yarn.
