Something Brown Cardigan - DONE!

Hubby thought I was weird for wanting to cast on another cardigan when I just finished one. What can I say? I love Bugga and I like these short sleeve cardigans!

Mar 8/11 - Got to the sleeve section. I casted on with Backward-Loop Cast-On. I also kept in the pattern.

Mar 26/11 - It's done. I just need to block it.

Apr 2/11 - I've washed it and didn't need to block it hard since it is huge now. I should have washed & block the swatch to check the gauge. I put it in the dryer on low for 20 min and now its a better size!

Purple Horse Hat - DONE!

Started Feb 27/11 Finished Mar 17/11 For my youngest who is horse crazy!

Mar 17/11 - I messed up the lice pattern (chart 4). The chart didn't have a clear end point till I got to the end and realized there was a line that travelled up the pattern. I doesn't really matter since the purple I was using was so dark in places that you couldn't tell that it wasn't black.

Playing With Yarn & Fiber

There is a show your stash thread over at Ravelry here. I decided to take some time out of my day and take a picture of my yarn & fiber stash. You don't realize how much you have till you try to take a picture of it all.




This was an attempt to take a picture of it all. Some on the right still didn't show up.

One would think that I have enough but I still want to buy more. I've asked hubby for a crafting room if we ever win the lottery. I would love to get nice glass cabinets to look at all my lovely yarn & fiber. I also cross stitch, play with paper & would like to learn how to weave. I also have paints (oil, water color & acrylic) and pastels. I don't think hubby can take much more hobby!

Purple Heart Scarf - DONE!

Started Nov 28/10 Finished Mar 1/11

A scarf for me with leftover Bugga yarn. It's too nice to not make anything with it. As you can see, I'm very good at starting projects but not so good at finishing them.

Dec 2/10 - Ended up frogging it and starting again. Casting on only 43 stitches and using stitch markers. The pattern is not complicated but I kept dropping stitches which wouldn't make the hearts look right. Feb 20/11 - Used up all the leftover Darkling Beetle so I'm using Dawn Dropwing now.

Started Feb 3/11 Finished Feb 26/11 I am using size 6 since my size 5 are on other projects.

Feb 26/11 - I was doing so good on the pattern but messed up 1/2 way through the 2nd time of Chart B. It looks okay but I wish the pattern worked till the end.

Blue Birthday Socks - DONE!

Started Jan 3/11 Finished Feb 24/11

These have to be done by March since they are for my Aunt's Birthday. Feb 4/11 - Finished the first sock! I used the Jeny's Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off for the first time. I like it! :) Feb 24/11 - Finished heel on 2nd sock!
