I made the following changes:
Row 9 K3, P till last 3 sts, K3 (for all odd rows)
Row 10 K3, yo, “k until the next stitch marker, yo, k1, yo”, repeat from ” ” until the last 3 sts, yo, K3
Row 12 k3 – yo – pm – (begin chart 1) – pm – yo –slip marker (sm) k1 – sm – yo – pm - (begin chart 1) – pm – yo –slip marker (sm) k1 – sm – yo – pm - (begin chart 1) – pm – yo –slip marker (sm) k1 – sm – yo – pm - (begin chart 1) – pm – yo – k3
Basically you want to put markers for the 9 sts of chart 1 and yo, K till marker before and k after marker, yo before the markers around k1.
Chart 2 is incorrect. Row 1 should be: k2, yo, k2tog, k9, k2tog, yo, k5, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k5, yo, k2tog, k9, k2tog, yo, k2 then you will have to slip marker k1 - sm and repeat 2x
May 10/14 - going to run out of yarn so I only did 2 repeats of Chart 2
May 11/14 - ran out of yarn finish shawl with Malabrigo Yarn Twist. Only did row 4 of Chart 3.
