My youngest wanted a purple cardigan. This is the back starting at the bottom. This pattern isn't difficult but it would have been nice if the decrease pattern was shown instead of just saying "decrease at end" or "decrease at beginning of each row". Aug 21 - started the pattern and was having problems with the YF which is suppose to be yarn forward. It didn't make sense until I found on the Internet that for some of the British patterns a YF followed by a K is a YO. So the pattern is suppose to go [k2, YO, skpo, K4] and the other part is suppose to be [k2tog, YO, K1, YO, skpo, k3] Aug 31/10 - decreasing should be on at beginning & end of pattern 1) k2tog, k, k2tog 2) p2tog, p, p2tog 3) k2tog k2, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k4 k2tog 4) p2tog, p, p2tog 5) k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k3 k2tog 6) p2tog, p, p2tog 7) k2tog, k, k2tog 8) p2tog, p, p2tog 9) k2tog, k3 k2, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k4 k2tog 10) p2tog, p, p2tog 11) k2tog, k1 k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, k3 k2tog

Dec 10/10 - finished the 3 pieces and sew the pieces together! I decided to pick up stitches at the arm instead of knitting the sleeves seperately and then sewing them on. I was a little off on the 2 front pieces already.
Jan 25/11 - Instead of knitting button holes (never done it and worried that it won’t match), I will be knitting 2 plan bands on the side. If she wants buttons, I will add snap on ones later.
Jan 29/11 - Done all the knitting. Need to block it and added the snap buttons.
