Flower Hat - DONE!

Another charity hat!  I’m basically doing the Basic Rib hat but I decided to just knit rows instead of k2, p2. I casted on 72 stitches. I knitted about 5.5” then decrease (k2, k2tog), 3 rows knit, (k1, k2tog), 3 row knit, k2tog, 3 rows knit, k2tog, 1 row knit, k2tog, 1 row knit.

Needles:  Size 8 circulars

Yarn:  Simple Scarves Merino in Flower Bouquet handspun

Pattern:  modified Basic Rib Hat

I didn’t follow the cast on.  I cast on 10 stitches via Judy's magic cast on.  I just did K1, M1, K all, M1, K1 until I had 42 stitches.

May 7/12 - finished 1st sock

May 15/12 - turn heel on 2nd sock

I love the colors in this yarn! This is a shawl for my oldest.

Apr 29/12 - ran out of yarn after 2nd repeat, finishing with Tufted Jungleking.

May 4/12 - running out of Tufted Jungleking so finished after a stockinette panel and after row 9 in the lace panel.
