Purple & Pink Comfort Fade Cardigan - DONE!

Going to knit it up with knit side and not purl side showing.

Jan 28/18 - not going down a size for the ribbing

Jan 31/18 - not doing decrease for the sleeves. I don’t want them too tight.

Feb 9/18 - added some color A to the sleeves

Feb 24/18 - I messed up the amount of stiches to pick up.  So I just marked the center stitch and made sure the section of short rows was in the middle.  For example color A I knitted 18 stitches past the center stitch w&t, then knitted another 18 stitches past the center for a total of the 36 sts .  For color B I knitted 33 sts past the center and then 33 sts for a total of 66.  For color c 48 sts and color d 63 sts.
I was worried about running out of color D since I ran out of color C so I only did 11 repeat of short row 87.

I LOVE how it turned out!  Now to block and weave in the many ends.

A Look Back At Knitting 2012!

It gets harder to do these reviews of the year since I get better and knitting & spinning more.  It's going to be a summary with lots of pictures.  Doing the Camp Loopy makes me finish projects on time.  I managed to finish 52 projects this year (stuck one in last min, finished a shawl I had been working on):

21 shawls
11 hats
8 socks
8 snowmen
2 gloves
2 booties
cardigan
leg warmers
scarf
baby blanket
baby sack

I still have a cardigan, 4 shawls and 2 blankets that won't be finished before the end of 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also spun 32 yarns for 2012!  I'm getting much better at my Hansen mini spinner.
