Tour De Fleece 2012

Started:  June 30/12
Finished: July 22/12

Tour De Fleece happens the same time as Tour De France.  I had a big goal of spinning 8 braids of fiber but I only spun 27.4oz into 3 yarns for a total of 1391.6 yards.  I did much better then the 1 yarn and 2 half finished yarns I did last year.

My first finished yarn was Bee Mice Elf Rambling 8oz of Superwash Merino into n-ply 369 yards 13 WPI.

The second yarn was Julie Spins 10 oz Humbug BFL 85%/Tussah Silk 15% into n-ply 419 yards 15 WPI.

My third yarn was Loop! Round Midnight 4.4 oz Merino, corriedale, bamboo, and tussah silk plied with Nightfall 5oz Merino and corriedale into 2ply 603.6 yards, 19 WPI.
