Shadow Lake Wrap - DONE!

Started Nov 10/09 Finished Jan 13/10

I know I have this thinga about starting projects. I'm working on a 3rd pair of slippers and 2nd fingerless gloves. I've figured out that I don't like doing the same pattern twice. I wanted to try this MCN yarn. The color is lovely!!

Nov 30/09 I LOVE this yarn!! It's so nice and soft. I finally got a nice picture of the different colors too.

Jan 14/09 I've washed and blocked the wrap. It really grew! It was an easy 16 row project though at the end of I was tired of doing it.

Needles: size 7 circular (I have 3 projects using the size 6 needles)

Yarn: Fiberphile's Merino Cashmere sock in Shadow Lake

Brown Hat - DONE!

Started Dec 14/09 Finished Dec 28/09

Hubby needs a hat too so I hope that I have enough of this yarn to make this hat. I'm using size 8 needles since another project is using the size 7 needles.

I went 8" for the body before decreasing to fit hubby better. I had to froggle it since 6" wasn't going to do it.

Needles: Size 8 circular

Nov 30/09 Started on the thumb of one glove. Six inches of the 3k, 1p takes a while!

Dec 4/09 Finished one mitt!

Traveling Woman Purple Shawl - DONE!

Started Oct 1/09 Finished Nov 17/09

Yes, another project started. I currently have 5 going on (not counting this one). I really wanted to knit with Wollmeise since I have 3 skeins of fingering weight and 2 of lace weight. So far I'm pretty happy with the yarn which is bad since its hard to get and gets on the expensive side. I have to do the set up till I have 201 stitches. Luckily someone knitted this pattern in WM so I have the changes I need. So far its been pretty easy but I haven't gotten to the lace parts yet.

I did 4 repeats of chart A and complete chart B!

Oct 3/09 I'm about half way through the set up stitches. I need to have 201 and I have 105 right now.

Oct 20/09 I have one more repeat of chart A before going to chart B.

Oct 26/09 I've done 3 repeats of chart A. It looks like I have lots of yarn so I will try for a 4th repeat

Needles: Size 6 circular

Yarn: Wollmeise Sockenwolle 100% superwash in Petit Poison Nr. 5

S's Christmas Socks - DONE!

Started Oct 9/09 Finished Nov 15/09

These are going to be hubby's Christmas sock. They were going to be a surprise but he has such wide feet, I couldn't knit them with out having him try them on. As it was, I had to cast 48 stitches rather then the 44 the pattern called for. I'm doing this on circulars (magic loop) rather then on double pointed needles. This is a really easy pattern. If I wasn't trying to do 5 other projects at the same time, I would have finished these socks in about a week.

Oct 23/09 Finished one sock!
